Good Morning and a Happy New Year 2016 to everyone.
I hope that your New Year is full of FUN in the Kitchen and that some of my use tips and advice that I provide help you to think of a different way of cooking and what you could use.
This Christmas I did not cook. I spent Christmas Day with my loved ones who cooked for me. I was so happy to have a day off from cooking and to just be able to put my feet up and enjoy and family home cooked meal.
This for Christmas we had Chicken and not Turkey but I did not mind, it was nice to have a change and a "Break form the Norm."
This week so far I have focused on only cooking stews with winter vegetables and meat from local butchers and selected stores that we use on our travels.
This is some thing that I will probably continue to do until about March.
WE still have some Elderberry Syrup on broad the NB Painted Lady that we made in September 2015 and some Home Made Wine which we made from Elder Flower/Elder Berry, and Rose hips with other added ingredient like Ginger.
WE have now had one Home-made wine bottled for Callan and Byrndly's 18th Birthday's with the help of their grandfather Mr Rayman Baxter.
I can not wait to start foraging again and making more "Towpath Culinary Delights" this Year.
I hope you enjoy reading my Blog.
Any Questions, please contact me.
